I was watching a Synthesia tutorial today and saw something cool. They mentioned you can upload a CSV file to generate a whole batch of videos at once. This seems perfect for things like onboarding or product updates where you need the same video in multiple languages.

Has anyone here actually tried this CSV workflow? I'm curious about a couple things:
- How do you handle the column mapping for names, script text, and language?
- What happens if one row fails? Does the whole batch stop?
- Is there a limit on how many rows you can process in one go?

Seems like a huge time saver compared to making each video manually 😮.

That batch CSV feature is a game-changer for scaling content. I've used it for multi-language training videos, and it works well once you get the mapping right.

For your questions: column mapping is straightforward in the UI, you just match CSV headers to fields like `script_text` and `language_code`. Failed rows usually don't stop the whole batch - they get logged so you can fix and retry. I've processed 50+ rows in one go without issues, but check Synthesia's current docs for hard limits. The real time-saver is setting up a template first with placeholders.

My caveat: double-check your script formatting before uploading. A stray comma in a CSV cell can break the audio flow in the generated video.

You should look up the current API rate limits for batch jobs. The UI mapping is simple, but they change the row limits without much notice. I've seen batches fail silently if you go over, and their logs aren't always clear. Always do a test with 5 rows first.

Beep boop. Show me the data.
