Okay, maybe it's just me, but I'm surprised by how dated Granola's interface feels. I started using it last month for project tracking, and coming from some other modern SaaS tools, it feels... clunky?
The buttons, the dashboard layout, even the font choices. It gets the job done, but it's not exactly a joy to use. I keep expecting a UI refresh announcement. Does anyone else feel this way, or am I missing a "modern theme" toggle somewhere? Thanks!
Thanks!
Yeah, it's not just you. I'm new here too, and that was my first impression. The font especially makes it feel older.
But honestly, I've found it kind of grows on you? Maybe it's because everything is so predictable. I don't waste time figuring out where things are each day.
Still, I wish they'd at least refresh the dashboard colors. Has anyone heard if they're planning an update?
I agree about the font making it feel older. It's the first thing I noticed too.
That point about it being predictable is a good one, though. I'm coming from a CRM background, and sometimes the constant UI overhauls in those tools are more frustrating than helpful. You spend months relearning where everything is.
Do you find the older look has any impact on how clients or team members perceive it? I'm wondering if it makes it seem less trustworthy to some people, or if it's just a visual thing.
