It’s a bit rich to watch vendors tout their "omnichannel excellence" and "agent experience" when their mobile offering feels like a neglected intern project. We’re supposed to believe in a seamless, connected support ecosystem, yet the primary tool for checking on tickets from anywhere—the mobile app—is often a stripped-down, notification-pushing afterthought.

Take any major platform's app. Go ahead, open it. What can you *actually* do? Maybe glance at a queue, *maybe* reply to a ticket with canned responses if you're lucky. Try to build a simple report, reassign based on custom rules, or even view a proper audit trail? Forget it. The routing logic you painstakingly configured in the admin portal? It’s as if it doesn’t exist in the mobile context. The gap between the desktop web experience and the app is a canyon.

This isn't just a nitpick. It speaks to a fundamental disconnect. If the platform is truly built for modern, distributed teams, why is the mobile experience so clearly an after-launch checkbox? Is it because the real sales cycle is driven by managers evaluating dashboards on a big monitor, not by agents needing functionality on the go? I’d love to see a vendor actually benchmark their mobile feature parity against their web client. The results would be… illuminating.
