We switched because the sales pitch made Vanta sound more "robust" and "enterprise-grade." And look, parts of it are. The reporting feels a bit more polished, and the auditor portal is smooth. But the day-to-day workflow? It's clunkier. In Sprinto, linking a piece of evidence to a control felt intuitive—almost like tagging. In Vanta, it's a multi-step process that involves more clicks and feels buried. My team is already complaining about the extra friction.
Also, the automated monitoring is... aggressive? It flagged things as failures that Sprinto would have treated as warnings, leading to a lot of noise. We spent a week just tuning alert thresholds, which feels like a step backwards. The whole point was to save time.
Has anyone else made this switch and found the opposite? I'm curious if we just haven't found the right groove in Vanta yet, or if the grass really was greener on the Sprinto side. Maybe it's a classic case of over-optimizing for the audit moment and not for the continuous compliance grind.
