I saw the announcement for Netskope's new AI Security module. I've been reviewing the platform for our sales team's cloud app use, but this one has me scratching my head.
Looking at the feature list, a lot of it seems to mirror what robust URL filtering and app control already does. The focus on "AI tool access" looks like it could be handled by existing CASB policies. Is the real value in the behavioral analysis or threat models they're hinting at? For those who have tried it, are you seeing it catch genuinely new threats, or is it primarily better reporting on shadow AI use?
