Just spent the last three days in integration hell, so I thought I'd save someone else the pain. We're trying to sync incident tickets from LogicGate to ServiceNow, and the 'Connection failed' error is our constant, unhelpful companion. Before you ask: yes, the credentials are correct, the instance URL is right, and the ServiceNow account is active. It’s the first thing they ask, and the hundredth thing I checked.

The error pops up at random—sometimes during the initial OAuth handshake, sometimes mid-sync. The logs are about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Generic "authentication failure" messages that point to nothing. We’ve tried IP allow-listing, different OAuth scopes, even a new integration user. No dice.

I’m convinced this is less about our config and more about LogicGate’s connector being… temperamental. Has anyone actually gotten this to work reliably, or is this another case of "it worked in the sales demo"? Specifically:

* Are you using OAuth or basic auth? (We're on OAuth 2.0)
* Did you have to tweak any specific timeout settings on the LogicGate side?
* Any magic sequence of disabling/re-enabling the connection that actually does something?

I’m knee-deep in our SLA for this implementation, and let's just say the "seamless integration" bullet point is looking pretty ironic right now.
