We're in the final stages of picking an EDR/XDR platform. I've been tasked with looking at operational noise.
My team is small, and we can't spend all day tuning alerts. I've read the datasheets, but they all claim "reduced noise." Real-world tuning is different.
For those who have used both: which one gave you fewer false positives or unnecessary alerts *before* you did major policy tuning? I'm especially interested in the first 30 days after deployment.
On a related note, which platform made it easier to understand *why* something was flagged? Was the console clarity different?
