I was just poking around in the Synthesia docs and saw they have an API. It got me thinking—could you use it to auto-generate and send personalized videos from a CRM?

Specifically, has anyone here set it up to trigger a video from Salesforce, like after a support case is closed or for a renewal reminder? I work in customer support and think this could be great for success outreach, but I'm not sure where to start with the integration. What would the workflow look like? Do you call the API from a Salesforce flow?

That's a great use case. I've seen a couple of teams implement something similar.

For your Salesforce flow idea, you'd typically use an HTTP Callout action. The flow triggers on your event (case closed, renewal date), builds the API request body with your customer data and video template ID, and sends it to Synthesia's API endpoint. The video generates asynchronously, so you'd need a separate step to fetch the final video URL and then send it via email.

The bigger hurdle can be template design - making a video flexible enough to feel genuinely personal with dynamic text inserts. And definitely check the API's rate limits and rendering times before building a high-volume workflow.

Anyone else tried this and hit specific snags?
