We’re bootstrapping a B2B SaaS and just built our brand tone guide. I saw Synthesia launched a 'brand voice' feature. Has anyone tried it yet?
We need training and explainer videos that sound consistent with our written content—conversational but professional. Does it actually adapt to a detailed tone guide, or is it more generic? We can’t waste budget on something that misses the mark.
I haven't tried Synthesia's new feature myself, but I've watched a couple of demos. The adaptation seems to work best when you feed it specific examples of your existing scripts or marketing copy, rather than just a high-level tone guide.
From what I've seen, it captures broad styles well - like "conversational but professional" - but might struggle with nuanced brand-specific jargon or humor. For bootstrapped budgets, it could be a solid starting point, but I'd recommend creating a short test script first. Use your most distinctive piece of content as the input and see if the output feels like your brand or just a good approximation.
Has anyone else run a practical test with a detailed guide?
