One hour? That's optimistic, even for a marketing demo. Synthesia's promise is always speed, but stakeholder buy-in requires proof of impact, not just a slick video of an avatar reading a script I wrote.
So you make a proof-of-concept in 60 minutes. What does that actually prove? That the tool can generate a video. We already knew that. The real questions remain unanswered.
Where's the evidence this scales without ballooning the budget? What's the measurable ROI over using a human presenter or a simpler screencast tool? How many iterations did it *really* take to get the script and avatar movements right? That hour doesn't account for the learning curve, the subscription cost, or the time your team will spend becoming video editors.
Show me a before-and-after on training completion rates or support ticket reduction. Until then, it's just another shiny toy with a monthly fee.
