Hey everyone, has anyone else run headfirst into Sora’s… let’s call it *aggressively vibrant* color science? 😅 I’ve been putting it through its paces on a bunch of different projects this past month, and I keep hitting the same wall: the output is consistently, dramatically oversaturated.

It’s not just a "vivid" style—it feels like the reds, blues, and greens are cranked up to 11, bleeding into neon territory even when my prompts are explicitly asking for "muted," "natural," "desaturated," or "film-like" tones. I tried a side-by-side generating a simple "sunset over a calm ocean," and compared to some other models, the oranges and purples looked almost electric, losing all the subtlety of that twilight hour.

I'm trying to nail down if this is:
* A fundamental, baked-in trait of the current model we just have to prompt-engineer around.
* A potential issue with how it's interpreting color-related adjectives versus artistic styles.
* Something that might be mitigated by super-specific prompting formulas or seeding tricks I haven't discovered yet.

My usual workflow for fixing this in other tools would involve some post-processing, but I'm really trying to assess Sora's viability for direct, rapid concepting where the color palette is somewhat consistent with reality. I've experimented with adding loads of context like "color graded with a muted palette," "documentary film photography," "naturalistic lighting," and even referencing specific film stocks known for softer colors, with mixed and inconsistent results.

So, I'm turning to the community hive mind:
* Have you found a magic prompt phrase or structure that reliably tames the saturation?
* Are you layering Sora's output with another tool specifically to pull back the color, and if so, what's your quickest method?
* Do we think this is a candidate for feedback to the team as a parameter control need (e.g., a saturation slider in a future API or interface)?

Really curious to hear your experiences and any workarounds you’ve patched together. The motion and physics are so incredible, but getting the color right feels like the last big hurdle for my use cases.
