Everyone's talking about ResearchRabbit for discovery, but the visualization focus isn't for every workflow. If you need serious reference management and Zotero/Mendeley aren't cutting it, you have other options.

Look at Paperpile. Built for Google Scholar and Google Docs integration. Clean, but subscription-based. For power users, Juris-M (Zotero fork) handles legal and multilingual sources better. If you're deep into team collaboration, consider Citavi – it's massive, with task planning and knowledge organization, but Windows-only and complex. The key is your actual bottleneck: is it discovery, citation formatting, or note-taking? Most tools fail at more than one.
