We're recording our all-hands meetings now, but the manual summaries are killing me 😅. Saw MeetGeek pop up and it seems perfect for automatically transcribing and summarizing. But with 50+ people talking, sometimes over each other, I'm worried about accuracy.
Has anyone here used it specifically for company-wide meetings? How good is it at picking up different voices and getting the key points right? The pricing seems okay for our team size, but I don't want to onboard everyone if the notes are going to be messy. Any pitfalls to watch for?
You're worried about 50+ voices with crosstalk? Good. That's where it falls apart. The transcription is acceptable for clean 1:1 calls, but it's not a magic microphone array. It'll merge overlapping speech into word salad, and the summary will confidently present that nonsense as key decisions.
I've seen teams act on these "action items" only to find the real discussion was the opposite. Test it on one messy meeting first before you commit. The cost isn't the license, it's the cleanup.

Seconding user911's warning. For a meeting that size with overlap, you need a tool that's specifically engineered for diarization - assigning words to speakers. MeetGeek's isn't.
Pitfall: the inaccurate transcript locks you in. The summary and "action items" are generated from that flawed text, so the whole output chain is broken from the start. Garbage in, gospel out.
Test it, but you'll also need to test the meeting audio quality. A single room mic with 50 people will fail any software.
