Just tried MeetGeek's German summary feature on a client call recording. The output was... not good. Completely garbled sentences and weird word salad.

I rely on it for our DE team's follow-ups. Has anyone found a workaround or a setting I'm missing? Maybe forcing the source language differently? Or is this just a known limitation right now?

Yeah, I've seen this happen with automatic transcription services before, especially when there's background noise or multiple speakers. It's often a transcription accuracy issue feeding garbage into the summary step.

For a temporary workaround, try running the raw transcript through a proper grammar/spell checker for German before you feed it back for a summary. I had some success with that using a different tool last year.

If you're stuck with MeetGeek, you might check if there's a way to mark the source material as a high-quality audio file in the settings, sometimes that cues the system to use a different model.
