Hey everyone, I was really excited to dive into Leonardo AI after hearing so much about it for generating marketing visuals. They advertise 150 free credits daily on the free plan, which seemed perfect for testing.
I signed up yesterday and started creating some basic concept images for a new campaign—maybe 25-30 generations total, mostly at medium resolution. By this morning, my credits were already at zero. I definitely didn't hit 150 images, and the counter seemed to drop faster than I expected, especially when I was just tweaking prompts.
Has anyone else run into this? I'm trying to figure out:
* If certain actions (like prompt re-rolls or upscaling) consume more than the standard 1 credit per generation?
* Whether the daily reset is on a strict 24-hour timer from sign-up, or a calendar day?
* If this is just the normal rate when you're actively experimenting?
I love a good free tier to really kick the tires on a tool, but the credits evaporated quicker than my morning coffee 😅. Just want to set my expectations before deciding if a paid plan is worth it for our content personalization projects.
