I've been evaluating Leonardo for a client project that requires some basic animated assets, and I'm trying to justify the cost-benefit internally. The jump from the free tier or even the Apprentice plan to the Pro plan (required for Motion) is significant. We're looking at $30-48/month per user, depending on the billing cycle.
My question for those who have hands-on experience: does the Motion feature live up to the subscription premium, especially for professional use? I'm particularly interested in:
* **Consistency & Control:** How reliable is it in maintaining character or scene coherence across generated frames? Is it more "cool effect" than "usable asset"?
* **Workflow Integration:** Are you typically generating motion-ready assets from scratch within Leonardo, or are you using it to animate static images created elsewhere in your pipeline?
* **Practical Output:** What are the real limitations on duration, resolution, and the dreaded "morphing" effect? Have you found it sufficient for short social clips, or can it handle more substantial storyboard sequences?
I want to move beyond the hype videos and understand if this is a genuine tool for modest production workflows, or still a fascinating but expensive beta feature. Any concrete examples of what worked and what didn't would be invaluable for my vendor evaluation.
