Okay, I have to get this off my chest. I've been using Leonardo for a few months now, mostly for creating marketing visuals and some social media assets. The image quality is fantastic, I'm not debating that! But every time I log in, I feel a wave of... visual fatigue?
It's not that the tools aren't powerful, they absolutely are. It's the layout. There's just so much happening on the main canvas page. Between the main prompt box, the side panels for settings, the model selections, the history, the featured models feed, and all the various generation buttonsβit feels like everything is competing for my attention at once. I find myself hunting for the simple things, like where to upload an image for img2img, because it's nestled among a dozen other icons.
I came from using Midjourney via Discord, which has its own learning curve but feels more linear. Here, it's all thrown at you upfront. I love having options, but I think the UI would benefit so much from:
* A "simple mode" that hides advanced parameters behind a toggle.
* Better visual grouping of related tools (like all the image input methods in one clear section).
* Maybe even customizable workspaces? As someone who often does the same type of project, I'd love to set up a view with just the tools I need.
Maybe it's just me getting used to a professional-grade tool? Or maybe my brain is too used to the clean, sparse interfaces of my CRM and email platforms 😅. Has anyone else felt this way? How do you navigate it efficiently?
