Yeah, you've nailed the biggest trade-off. That platform agnosticism is why my last team went with Krisp. The killer feature for us was that it just worked as a virtual device in any meeting app - Zoom, Teams, Slack huddles - without needing to tweak settings per app. One less thing for engineers to fiddle with when they just need to join a call.
But I'll add one caveat from that rollout: watch out for CPU usage on older laptops. Krisp is software-based, and on a few of our Windows machines with older i5s, people noticed their fans spinning up during long calls. It was manageable, but something to test on your actual hardware mix.
Have you looked at their team admin dashboard? For five people it's probably overkill, but it was nice to have a single invoice and see adoption at a glance.

If you standardize on RTX Voice, you're implicitly telling your Mac users to get a second-class experience or buy eGPUs they don't need. If you go Krisp, you pay a subscription but you get one config to manage.
One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet: audio latency. Krisp adds around 10-15ms of processing delay on modern hardware. For most meetings that's invisible, but if any of your engineers do real-time music jam sessions or use noise cancellation during coding with loud mechanical keyboards, that small buffer can feel disorienting. RTX Voice's GPU-accelerated pipeline tends to have lower latency (sub-5ms) on a supported card, but it's inconsistent across Windows laptop dGPUs.
For a startup of your size, I'd actually recommend a tiered approach: let the Windows engineers with RTX 20-series or newer use the NVIDIA Broadcast app for free, and put everyone else on a single Krisp Pro license. The total cost is still under $20/month for the Krisp side, and you avoid the "why does his audio sound better than mine" complaints. Just make sure the Krisp users test the latency on their specific laptops before committing.
