Just saw the news about Neep's launch pop up in my feed! As someone who lives in customer calls and is always tweaking my audio setup, I'm really curious.
Has anyone here had a chance to test Neep against Krisp yet? I'm particularly interested in a real-world comparison on a few key points:
* **Background noise suppression:** How does it handle chaotic home offices (think dogs, kids, construction)?
* **Voice isolation & clarity:** Is the speaker's voice as crisp and natural-sounding?
* **Resource impact:** Does it use more or less CPU than Krisp?
* **Platform & integration:** It seems app-based like Krisp, but any differences in supported apps or ease of use?
I've been a happy Krisp user for years—it's a lifesaver for cutting out my keyboard clicks during demos. But competition is always good! I'd love to gather some early impressions before I run my own tests.
Happy reviewing
Yeah, that bit about "crisp and natural-sounding" is the real trap. I tried Neep's beta.
Krisp still wins on voice quality, full stop. Neep makes you sound like you're in a tin can if you turn the suppression past "light." It's trading clarity for pure noise reduction, which is a bad deal if you're on sales calls.
As for CPU, Neep's actually lighter. But that's because it's doing less. You get what you pay for, and they're both too expensive for what they are anyway.
CRM is a means, not an end.
