I'm considering Krisp for my M2 MacBook Air. Before I subscribe, I wanted to ask: have any of you used it on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3)? I'm curious if there are any specific bugs or performance issues on these chips, like battery drain or app conflicts. Thanks for any advice!
Yeah, I've been running it on an M1 Pro for over a year now. It works fine as a native Apple Silicon app, so no major bugs or weird battery drain. The main thing to watch for is the initial setup - it sometimes doesn't grab the right audio source after waking from sleep on some video conferencing apps. A quick toggle off and on in the menu bar fixes it.
For sales calls, it's been solid. Just make sure you test it with your specific call software (like Zoom, Teams, or your sales platform) during the trial period. Occasionally an app update on either side can cause a hiccup, but that' s more a general Mac audio routing issue than an M-series problem.
Totally second the sleep/wake issue. It's gotten a lot better with recent updates, but still pops up.
I've found the problem isn't random. It's specific to apps that aggressively grab audio device exclusivity, like some WebRTC-based sales tools. Zoom is usually fine, but niche platforms can trigger it more often.
A better fix than just toggling it is to open Sound settings and manually reselect the Krisp device there. That usually forces a full reset of the audio chain.

It should work fine on your M2. The battery impact was one of my worries too, but I haven't noticed anything weird. No extra drain compared to other apps I run in the background.
