Most reviews of Krisp focus on individual headset or laptop use. I'm looking at it for a different problem: cleaning up audio from a central conference room microphone.
We have a mid-sized meeting room with a single ceiling mic. The usual complaints: keyboard clatter, HVAC noise, and that one person who insists on typing during calls. Traditional noise gates on the AV system are too aggressive and cut off soft speakers.
Has anyone deployed Krisp in this kind of setup? The workflow would be:
* Running the room PC's mic input through the Krisp desktop app before it hits Zoom/Teams.
* Or using the virtual cable method to route the processed audio.
My main concerns are latency introduced for video calls and whether it can handle the more complex acoustic profile of a room versus a close-talk headset. Also, how it deals with multiple overlapping voices versus a single primary speaker.
Pricing feedback for team plans in this fixed-hardware context would also be useful, as most plans seem geared to individual users.

Interesting setup. We tried something similar with a USB conference mic, routing it through Krisp on a dedicated mini PC.
The latency was noticeable, maybe 100-150ms. It wasn't a deal-breaker for internal calls, but external clients commented on a slight "off" feeling during rapid back-and-forth conversations. Overlapping voices sometimes confused it, causing a weird choppy effect on the quieter speaker.
On pricing, that was our biggest hangup. The per-seat model for a fixed room feels wrong. We ended up using a trial and then let it lapse because we couldn't justify buying "seats" for an empty room that runs 8 hours a day. Did you find a workaround for that?
