Hey everyone. I'm three months into using Jasper at my new DevOps role, mostly for writing docs and incident reports. Wanted to share my take.
It definitely speeds up the first draft. I can get a runbook outline or a post-mortem structure in seconds, which is amazing when you're staring at a blank page. But I've noticed I spend *more* time editing than I used to. The output often feels generic, or it overcomplicates simple steps. I have to go back and strip out fluff to make it sound like me and fit our internal tone. It's like the tool does 80% of the work, but that last 20% takes real effort.
So yeah, net time saved? Probably. But the trade-off is more polishing than I expected. Has anyone else felt this? Maybe I'm just not prompting it right yet. 😅
