Has anyone benchmarked Jasper's speed vs. manual writing for newsletters?

Hey everyone, I've been tasked with putting together a weekly internal newsletter at my company, and I'm trying to figure out if using a tool like Jasper would actually save me time. Right now, I spend roughly 4-5 hours every Monday researching updates, writing summaries, and formatting everything.

I see a lot of people talking about Jasper's quality, but I'm really curious about raw speed for a repetitive task like this. My process is pretty structured: I pull the top 5 project updates from our SQL database, then write a 2-3 paragraph summary for each.

Has anyone done a real, timed benchmark? Something like:
- **Manual:** Time spent researching + drafting + editing the full newsletter.
- **Jasper:** Time spent crafting the right prompts + generating drafts + editing the AI output.

I'm wondering if the time saved in the initial draft is eaten up by the "prompt engineering" and fact-checking phase. For example, if my SQL query returns "Q3 Sales increased by 15% in the Northeast region," I'd need Jasper to expand that into a readable paragraph. Can it do that consistently without me having to heavily reformat every time?

Also, does the speed gain hold up after the "new tool" novelty wears off? Or does it become just another step in the workflow?

If you've measured this, what was your setup? I'd be especially interested if you use a similar data-to-newsletter flow. Maybe even a simple table comparing the two approaches?

Thanks in advance! This kind of concrete data would really help me make a case for (or against) getting a subscription.
