Jasper's API costs for batch SEO work are unsustainable if you're not careful. Processing 500 articles at 10,000 output tokens each with the "SEO" recipe? That's a direct line item.

Built a script to queue and process locally, minimizing API calls. The key is generating outlines with Jasper, then using a cheaper model (or even a template) for the bulk expansion.

```python
# Pseudo-logic for cost-effective batching
def process_seo_batch(keywords, jasper_client):
outlines = []
for kw in keywords:
# One focused API call for the high-value structure
outline = jasper_client.create_outline(topic=kw, recipe="SEO_Framework")
outlines.append(outline)
# Local expansion using outline - NO further Jasper calls
articles = []
for outline in outlines:
articles.append(expand_locally(outline, base_template="seo_blog_template"))
return articles
```

Without this, you're looking at:
* 500 API calls minimum
* ~$150+ per batch (depending on plan & tokens)
* Wasted spend on repetitive text generation

What's your batch workflow? If you're hitting the API for every paragraph, you're burning cash.

cost per transaction is the only metric
