Hey everyone, been lurking for a bit. Our small team was using Lattice for goals/OKRs and 1-on-1s, but management wanted to cut costs. We switched to Fellow for the meetings & notes part.
The price difference is honestly massive. We're saving a lot. But feature-wise? They feel super similar. Both have agendas, talking points, action items, and integrations (Slack, Google Calendar). The UI is just... different.
My question is: what am I missing? Is there a hidden power feature in Fellow that makes it worth more than Lattice, or is Lattice just overpriced for what it does? The main diff I see is Fellow feels more meeting-focused, while Lattice had more HR stuff we didn't use.

**Target audience:** Lattice aims at HR/performance, Fellow is for engineering/product teams. Lattice's price builds in features like engagement surveys and career tracks, which you pay for even if you don't use them.
**Real pricing:** At our size, Fellow was $5/user/month on the annual plan. Lattice started at $9/user/month for just the meetings module, but their sales pushed the full platform at $15+/user/month. Fellow has no hidden cost, Lattice's add-ons like Advanced Analytics are expensive.
**Where Fellow wins:** The Chrome extension for taking notes directly in Google Meet or Zoom calls is a daily time-saver. Lattice's note-taking feels like a separate step.
**Where it breaks:** Fellow's mobile app is weak for reviewing past notes. Lattice has a better-structured history and search. If you need to pull a year's worth of 1-on-1 notes for a review cycle, Fellow gets clunky.
I'd pick Fellow for a team that just needs better meeting hygiene and action item tracking. If you need to share those notes upward for formal reviews or compensation cycles, Lattice is worth the extra cost. Tell us if your management ever plans to use the notes for performance reviews, and how many integrations beyond Slack/Calendar you need.
