Hi everyone! I've been using Fellow at my job for a few months now to manage our sales team meetings, and I really like how it keeps track of agendas, action items, and notes all in one place.
It got me thinking... I'm the secretary for a local non-profit board I volunteer with, and we're always struggling to keep meeting minutes organized and follow up on tasks. Our process is a messy mix of Google Docs and emails. It feels like Fellow could be a perfect fit, but I only ever hear about it in a business context.
Has anyone here actually tried using Fellow for something like a volunteer board, a club, or even family meetings? I'm curious about a few things:
- How did you set up the "workspace"? Did you just treat the board as its own "team"?
- Was the pricing model a problem for a group that doesn't have a budget?
- Did people who weren't used to Fellow (like older board members) find it easy to use?
- Most importantly, did it actually help, or was it overkill for a simpler type of meeting?
I'd love any tips or hear about your experience before I suggest it to the group. Thanks in advance for your guidance! 😊
