Looking into Fellow's transcription for cost/performance. The audio storage location is a major security variable.
Key questions:
- Is transcribed audio stored locally or in their cloud?
- If cloud, which provider/region? AWS S3 vs Azure Blob changes compliance scope.
- Retention period? Auto-delete after processing?
- Encryption at rest? Who holds the keys?
Their docs mention "secure cloud storage" but lack specifics. Without clear data residency and access controls, this is a compliance risk for sensitive meetings.
Anyone run actual network traces or checked AWS CloudTrail logs to see where the data flows?
