The transcription as a foundational layer is the correct starting point, but you're glossing over the single biggest time sink that even Descript can't magically fix: identifying those ten clips in the first place. The efficiency gain isn't just the automatic transcription, it's the ability to *edit by deleting text*. You can scroll the transcript, find a dull Q&A section, and just highlight and delete those sentences - the corresponding video and audio are cut instantly. That's the paradigm shift.
