Built our own lead scoring in Django. Simple rules, worked fine. Saw the hype for AI agents, tried Claw.
Big mistake. The agent is a black box. Costs 10x more than our server bill. Gives weird scores that make no sense. Now we're stuck because the sales team relies on it but complains daily.
It's all promises and complexity. Wish we'd just improved our old system.
