Am I the only one who starts rollouts by fixing a single, painful, visible problem?

Hi everyone. I'm new to this role and our nonprofit is small. We're looking at new tools, but the thought of a full team rollout is overwhelming.

I've been wondering if it's smarter to start by using a new tool to solve just one painful, visible problem. For example, fixing our volunteer calendar chaos before even mentioning a full CRM. Does anyone else do this? Does it help with adoption later, or does it create more problems?
