We've all been there. The ticket's stuck, the vendor rep is giving canned responses, and your SLA clock is ticking. Escalating poorly just burns bridges. Here's what I've found works.

**Before you escalate:**
* Have your ticket number, timeline, and all previous comms ready.
* Clearly state the business impact (e.g., "This is blocking 15 users from processing orders").
* Know exactly what you're asking for—a senior engineer callback? A firm ETA?

**The actual escalation message (in email or their portal):**
* Subject: **URGENT: Escalation Request for Case [Number] - [Brief Impact Statement]**
* Keep it factual. "Despite three updates, the proposed solution on [Date] did not resolve the core issue. The ongoing problem is causing [specific impact]. Please assign this to a senior support engineer and provide a resolution plan within 24 hours."

This moves it from a technical loop to a management issue. What's your go-to method?

Automate the boring stuff.
