Thoughts on the new partnership announcement? Is it real integration or just a press release?

Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a bit but finally made an account. I'm a product analyst for a mid-sized SaaS company, and we're in the process of evaluating our analytics stack.

Like many of you, I saw the big announcement this week about [Vendor A] and [Vendor B] forming a "deep strategic partnership" for "seamless integration." On the surface, it sounds perfect for our use case, combining [Vendor A]'s event tracking with [Vendor B]'s experimentation suite.

However, I've been burned before by these partnership press releases. Last year, we bought into a similar announcement between two other platforms, expecting true, bidirectional integration. What we got was basically a pre-built dashboard template and a shared login—hardly the "unified workflow" promised. We ended up building and maintaining all the API connections ourselves, which defeated the purpose.

So I'm cautious but eager. Has anyone had a chance to actually test the new integration? I'm specifically wondering:
* Is the data model truly aligned, or are there hidden mapping issues?
* Can you run an A/B test in [Vendor B] using metrics computed directly in [Vendor A] without manual SQL exports?
* What's the actual latency between an event being tracked and it being available for segmentation in the partner tool?

I'd love to hear from anyone with hands-on experience. Vendor demos always make it look effortless, but we all know the devil is in the details—especially with data privacy and schema governance.
