Hi everyone! I'm new to on-call and just inherited our team's pager duty rotation. The alerts are... constant. I hear people talk about "pager fatigue," but when I mention it, I get vague nods.
What metrics actually prove it's a problem? I need something concrete to show my manager. Things like number of pages per person? Time spent on alerts? I want to show the impact on productivity and well-being, not just complain.
How have you successfully made this case? What data convinced your leadership to change things?
