Just spent two hours figuring out why Claw's "smart rename" wasn't working. Turns out it silently disables itself if you have the "Bracket Pair Wizard" extension installed. No warning. No log entry. Just a dead feature.

Found the culprit by bisecting my plugin list. Here's the relevant, buried config it creates when it bails:

So now we need to audit for "competing" extensions? This is why I stick with `sed`. It does what you tell it, every time.

If it ain't broke, don't 'upgrade' it.
