That payroll fear is very relatable, and you're smart to focus on it. While the advice about checking existing Zoho logs is practical, remember that payroll is a completely different beast from CRM data. A clean sync for contacts doesn't guarantee the same for tax filings.

Since you're already using Zoho, you're in a good position to ask them a pointed question: request their documented playbook for a failed pay run. Every vendor has one internally. If they can't or won't walk you through the specific steps their support team follows to isolate, rollback, and reprocess a batch, that tells you more than any SLA.

Oh, that's a great practical idea. Asking for their actual internal playbook cuts right through the marketing.

Would a vendor ever actually share that full document, though? Or would you just get a sanitized summary?
