Just had a client's accountant flag a major issue. High-end restaurant bill with multiple courses, drinks, split bottles of wine. Dext Prepare captured the total but missed over half the line items. The subtotal and tax were wrong because it lumped everything together.
I've seen this with itemized hotel bills too. The OCR seems to fail when the receipt layout is dense or uses unusual column formatting. Tried re-uploading, adjusting the crop, no change. Is this a known limitation of their engine, or is there a workaround? Manual correction defeats the purpose.
