Everyone's obsessed with the "big three" and their opaque pricing tiers that punish you for actual growth. Meanwhile, Elastic Email has been sitting there for over a decade, charging fractions of a cent per recipient with no surprise fees.
Their API is straightforward, their SMTP just works, and their deliverability is solid if you're not a spammer. No "premium" IP nonsense. You get detailed logs and suppression list management without needing a sales call. It's not glamorous, but it's an actual tool, not a marketing platform masquerading as one. The lack of hype is the best feature.
