Hey everyone! 👋 I've been deep in the weeds building some crazy complex lead scoring and nurture workflows in HubSpot lately, but I realized I've been totally neglecting the foundation: actually getting the emails to the inbox.

I can automate the perfect sequence, personalize the heck out of it, but if my domain reputation is tanking, it's all for nothing. I feel like I've been decorating a house built on sand.

So, for a complete newbie on the monitoring side, where do I even start? I know the basic concepts (DKIM, SPF, DMARC), but I need practical, "set it and monitor it" advice.

Specifically:
* **Free vs. Paid Tools:** Is a free tool like Google Postmaster Tools enough, or do I *need* something like Mailgun's Sending Analytics or a dedicated service like GlockApps from day one?
* **Key Metrics to Watch:** Beyond spam complaint rates (which I track in HubSpot), what are the 2-3 reputation signals I should obsess over first? IP reputation vs. domain reputation?
* **Alert Thresholds:** At what point should a blip on the radar actually make me pause my automated campaigns? A 2% bounce rate? A specific blocklist appearance?

I'm basically looking to build a simple dashboard that gives me an early warning system before my deliverability falls off a cliff. Any favorite setups or "wish I'd known this earlier" tips would be hugely appreciated!

It's not marketing, it's logic.
