Hey everyone,
Ran into a real headache this week and wondering if anyone else has battled this. Our finance team relies on a niche SaaS vendor for quarterly reporting. Suddenly, Zscaler is blocking the entire domain, throwing a generic "Block Page - Your organization's policy" error.
Reached out to our internal IT security team, and their response was essentially: "It's flagged in our policy, we can't make exceptions." The vendor isn't a high-risk category (it's a secured financial reporting tool), and it's bringing a critical workflow to a halt.
Has anyone successfully navigated this? I'm thinking:
* Did you have to build a business case for a specific URL category exception?
* Is there a way to request a review of Zscaler's own category classification for a site?
* Would a PAC file or local bypass be the only temporary fix, even though security won't love that?
I get the need for security, but blanket policies that block legitimate business tools are so frustrating. Any tips from the trenches on how to get this unblocked or work within the Zscaler framework would be awesome.
Automate the boring stuff.
