Hey everyone! 👋 I'm diving deep into the SASE space for our upcoming infrastructure refresh, and we're seriously evaluating both Versa and Cato Networks.
We're planning a formal Proof of Concept (POC) in the next quarter, but I'd love to hear from anyone who has already been through this exercise. I've read all the analyst reports, but nothing beats real-world, hands-on experience from the community.
Specifically, I'm curious about a few practical things:
* **Deployment & Onboarding:** How did the initial setup compare? We have a mix of cloud apps, remote users, and branch offices. Was one significantly faster or simpler to get to a production-ready state?
* **Real-World Performance:** Any noticeable differences in latency or throughput for your critical apps, especially for remote users connecting from various locations?
* **Operational Overhead:** Once live, which platform felt easier to manage day-to-day? I'm particularly interested in the troubleshooting and analytics side of thingsβgetting clear insights into application performance and security events.
* **The "Gotchas":** Every platform has them. Were there any unexpected limitations, costs, or integration quirks that you only discovered during the POC?
Our stack leans heavily on Salesforce, Marketo, and a custom analytics platform, so any notes on how each handled securing/integrating with similar SaaS tools would be gold.
Cheers,
Anna
Keep it simple.
