Okay, I’m just going to say it because I haven’t seen many people talk about this yet. I’ve been using the new Veracode UI for a few months now, and honestly… it feels harder to use than the old one? 😬
I came from using the classic platform at my last company, and I was pretty comfortable finding my way around. Now, with the new interface, simple things seem to take more clicks. For example, trying to find where my static scan results are for a specific branch used to be really straightforward. Now I feel like I’m hunting through menus, and the navigation isn’t as clear.
Maybe it’s just me getting used to it, but I feel like the information hierarchy is off. The old dashboard gave me a quicker snapshot of what needed my attention. Now everything feels a bit more spread out and visually “light,” which sounds nice, but it actually makes it harder for me to prioritize.
Has anyone else felt this way? Or am I just not using it correctly? I really want to like it because I know they put a lot of work into the update, but I’m struggling to see the improvement in day-to-day use.
