Is Veracode worth the cost for a small security team?

We're a team of three devs handling our own app security. Looking at Veracode for SAST and SCA. The automated scanning and policy engine seems perfect for our limited bandwidth.

But the quotes we got were... significant. For those who've used it: does the time saved on manual reviews and the reduced risk actually justify the premium price tag for a small team? Or did you find it overkill and move to something like Snyk or SonarQube?
