Vendor says "continuous scanning" like it's a feature, not a cost multiplier. Their default settings are designed to consume resources, not conserve them.
Has anyone actually found a way to throttle the scans in Cloud One without breaking compliance checks? The console options seem deliberately vague. I'm hitting API limits on a major cloud provider because it's scanning every file change in a high-churn bucket. Their support just points to the general "scan intervals" doc, which is useless. Looking for real config examples or workarounds that don't involve paying for a higher tier just to scan less.
