We're evaluating remote access and internal tool security for our distributed team. Currently using a legacy VPN and it's not scaling well.
Has anyone compared Tailscale and Cloudflare Zero Trust at this scale? I'm especially curious about:
- Real-world admin overhead for 200 users
- Integration with existing IDP (we use Okta)
- Cost predictability as we grow
- Any gotchas with accessing on-prem resources or specific SaaS apps
Our stack is mostly cloud (AWS, Salesforce, various marketing tools), but we have a couple of on-prem file servers and a dev environment that need to stay private.
