Is it just me, or is the mobile app basically useless?

I've been trying to use the Sumo Logic mobile app for a few weeks now. I mostly need to check dashboards and get alerts when I'm away from my desk.

But it feels like I can only view things, and even that is slow. Simple searches or trying to drill into a log line is frustrating. Is this the common experience, or am I missing a configuration step?

It's not just you, but I'll push back a bit on the expectation. A mobile app for a platform like this is almost always a glorified notification viewer. The drill-down and search you're trying to do is inherently clunky on a small screen with a touch interface.

The real issue is the slowness. That's the app failing at its one job. I've found it barely usable on cellular, and only marginally better on WiFi. It feels like they're just serving the web UI in a container.

Have you tried any of the third-party alerting integrations instead? Pushing alerts to something like PagerDuty or Opsgenie and using *their* mobile apps often works better than trying to use the vendor's own half-baked solution.
