Is Sophos Intercept X worth the price for a 100-person retail chain?

Hi everyone. I'm looking at endpoint security for our small retail chain (about 100 endpoints across stores and a small office). We're currently using a basic antivirus and I'm concerned it's not enough, especially with POS systems.

I've seen Sophos Intercept X recommended, but the pricing seems quite high compared to some other options. For those who have used it, do you feel the features like deep learning threat detection and the managed service are truly worth the premium? Our in-house IT is just me and one other person, so the "set and forget" aspect is appealing, but the cost is a big factor.

Any real-world experiences on its effectiveness and management overhead would be really helpful. Thanks in advance for your insights
