Just automated Snyk Code tickets into Jira. Their own API docs are a maze, and the webhook payloads are a mess of nested objects. Took more time to parse their JSON than to write the actual integration.
Surprised they charge so much for a platform that treats Jira as a second-class citizen. The official integration feels like an afterthought. Meanwhile, a few lines of Python and you're bypassing their "enterprise" upsell. Classic.
Script’s on my Git. It's ugly, but it works. Lets you filter the noise and only ticket the high-severity stuff their own UI buries. The false positives alone would flood your board.

Nice, but you didn't mention the compute cost for your parser. Every webhook fire and script run is adding to your cloud bill. If this thing's polling or processing a high volume, you just added a recurring cost to "bypass their upsell."
Show me the runtime metrics. Bet it costs more than you think.
