Just finished another evidence review cycle in Secureframe and I'm hitting the same performance wall. When I filter for a control with 50+ pieces of evidence, the UI feels like it's churning through molasses. The spinner hangs for a good 10-15 seconds before anything is interactable.
I know they're likely fetching and rendering a lot of data, but in a tool built for compliance, speed is part of the workflow. It makes cross-referencing artifacts across frameworks a real chore.
Has anyone else experienced this with larger evidence sets, particularly with:
- Multi-cloud environments (AWS + GCP in our case)
- Automated evidence from GitHub/GitLab integrations
- Custom evidence uploads in bulk
I'm curious if there are any workarounds, or if it's just a known scaling issue. My infrastructure brain wants to suggest pagination or virtualized scrolling, but I'm not on their dev team. For a platform that handles automation so well, this UI lag feels like the one manual step in an otherwise automated pipeline.
