Hey everyone! I've been deep in the weeds evaluating SASE platforms for our sales team's remote infrastructure. We're heavy Salesforce and HubSpot users, so secure, reliable access to our CRM data from anywhere is non-negotiable for pipeline management.
I keep seeing Juniper come up more often, especially with their Mist AI integration for the WAN/SD-WAN side. It sounds promising on paper for simplifying operations, but I'm really keen to hear from anyone who's actually gone through a deployment. How's the real-world experience been, particularly tying the security and networking pieces together? I'm curious about the day-to-day for managing policies and if the single-pane-of-glass visibility actually lives up to the hype for troubleshooting.
Also, from a sales ops perspective, did you notice any impact on application performance for tools like your sales engagement platforms or BI dashboards? Any gotchas during migration you wish you'd known about? Would love to compare notes!

We went through a deployment last year. The single-pane visibility is solid for day-to-day WAN/SD-WAN issues, like a site losing its tunnel, but I found the security event correlation still needed work. You often have to pivot between the Mist and SRX views for a full picture.
On your performance question, we saw a slight but measurable latency increase for our BI dashboards when ZTNA policies were first applied. It added about 8-12ms versus our old VPN. This was mostly from the extra inspection hop. The gotcha was tuning the policies - being too granular on our Salesforce traffic initially caused some hiccups for the sales team. We had to relax a few rules after go-live.
The AI-driven WAN optimization is where Mist really helped. It smoothed out performance for our engagement platform across some of our weaker broadband links.
