Hi everyone. I'm deep in setting up a PCI-DSS compliant segment for our payment processing. The network side is new to me (more of a martech person!), and I'm feeling a bit lost.

I need to lock down outbound traffic from the cardholder data environment. My plan is to start with a default deny rule and only allow specific, necessary outbound connections (like to our payment gateway). Can you guide me on the specific rule logic and structure in pfSense/OPNsense? I'm especially unsure about logging and how to handle DNS properly. Help me pick the right stack.
